Beyond the customer requirement: seizing on SCRM as a differentiator

From healthcare and pharmaceuticals to manufacturing and information technology – many industry sectors are being affected by supply chain risks requiring additional oversight. Several recent bellwether federal procurements (GSA ASTRO, Polaris, 8(a) STARS III, and DISA DES, for example) contain requirements for offerors to disclose measures taken to assess and limit these risks as part of contract award. Agencies and the government contractors that serve them will increasingly be obligated to know exactly where products, components and services are being sourced. Contractors can expect new standards and acquisition policies for supply chain risk management (SCRM) programs in order to improve SCRM capabilities for the government and industry as a whole.

Watch Deltek’s on-demand webinar to hear Baker Tilly’s Government Contract Solutions (GCS) Principal, Jeff Clayton, and Senior Manager, Leo Alvarez, along with Deniece Peterson, Director, Federal Market Analysis for Deltek and Kelley Artz, Supply Chain Risk Management Technical Lead for GSA FAS Office of Policy and Compliance, provide insight on what the government contracting industry should be doing to prepare for increased scrutiny on supply chain oversight.

The on-demand webinar addresses the following topics:

  • How SCRM will affect government contractors
  • How the industry is reacting to SCRM today
  • How recent Biden Executive Orders are being expected to alter the acquisition landscape
  • How SCRM may affect procurement vehicles going forward
