- Plans and supervises financial statement audit and review engagements with an emphasis on the retail industry, focusing on convenience stores, grocers, supermarkets, restaurants, franchises, franchisors and big box retailers
- Member of Baker Tilly’s craft beverage team
- Serves as a Value Architect™ to companies and their owners by providing long range business planning and advising on implementation of tax strategies
- Consults with clients on complex retail tax topics including repairs and maintenance regulations, depreciation methods and LIFO
- Helps clients expand their business including acquisition related due diligence, advising with obtaining bank financing and preparation of financial forecasts and projections
- Lead audit partner for required franchisor audited financial statements included in Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD)
- Assists clients in securing tax credits and incentives for new retail developments
- Leads annual benchmarking study highlighting key performance indicators for restaurants
- Provides dispute services including damage measurement and cash flow analysis
- Assists clients with the implementation of technical accounting standards
- Presents seminars for industry professionals covering accounting, tax and financial performance topics
