Jaime has more than 15 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, executives, families with multigenerational wealth and family offices. She has been working at Baker Tilly since 2003 and leads the firm's private wealth practice in the East region of the U.S., which includes our Tysons, VA office. She provides a variety of income tax and estate tax advisory services in addition to serving real estate and construction companies with their compliance and advisory needs. Provides tax planning for high-net-worth families, partnerships, S corporations, individuals, trusts, estates and foundations to maximize tax incentives, minimize tax burdens, ease stress and save clients’ time 

Advises family offices and multigenerational families regarding wealth preservation and wealth transfer strategies 

Responsible for overseeing the overall tax compliance for her clients, including managing the preparation of federal and multistate income tax returns for S corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, estates and foundations 

Assists clients with estate planning, including complicated gifting transactions, charitable giving planning and structures and family limited partnerships 

Provides ongoing communication with clients regarding changes in tax laws and new tax incentives 

Assists with federal and state income tax audits and appeals processes

Understands the dynamics of family enterprises and provides practical ideas and consulting services that resonate with her clients’ unique situations
