The Village of West Baraboo, Wisconsin was hiring to replace their retiring clerk and treasurer. What’s more, the village faced inefficiencies in their accounting processes, making reporting and budgeting difficult and time consuming. With the transition looming, the village wanted to ensure success for the incoming employee.
The village enlisted Baker Tilly’s state and local government outsourced accounting services team for periodic bookkeeping services to help maintain strong accounting records, as well as budget assistance and audit preparation. Baker Tilly also supported the village in their search by preparing questions for interviews with candidates and, after the hire, our outsourcing team provided onboarding and training support.
