Toni Pergolin is the President and CEO of Bancroft, a 140-year-old human services organization, and has served in this position for more than 15 years. Prior to Bancroft, Toni worked at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, serving in various positions. In addition, Toni is also a published author of her book, ‘Too Important to Fail: Leadership Lessons for Nonprofits’ which tells the story of how Bancroft went from operating on the edge of bankruptcy to becoming an agile organization that is positioned to sustain itself for years to come. The book also examines the challenges and misconceptions that so many nonprofits face.
