Steve is a principal with Baker Tilly in the manufacturing and distribution practice. He has spent most of his career in public accounting. Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Steve was a manager at an international firm focusing primarily on financial statement audits of multinational manufacturing companies.
- Providing assurance services to a wide variety of public and private organizations in industries such as manufacturing, not-for-profit, retail and pharmaceutical
- Testing the design, implementation and operating effectiveness of internal controls under Sarbanes Oxley Section 404
- Responsible for supporting multinational assurance engagements which report under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) framework
- Responsible for managing an assurance engagement team to support an organization’s initial public offering, including the coordination of status amongst the organization’s various consultants
- Responsible for planning and supervising assurance engagement teams to ensure that the audit procedures performed are in accordance with firm and professional standards
- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting assurance engagements
