Stacie McDermott

Leveraging over 18 years of experience in public accounting, Stacie specializes in providing assurance and strategic consulting for privately held, emerging market companies in industries including software and hardware technology, professional services, life sciences, and manufacturing and distribution. In addition, she leads the New England employee benefit plan audit practice with oversight of a dedicated team. Her experience includes technical accounting matters such as revenue recognition, complex debt and equity transactions, accounting for mergers and acquisitions, and employee benefit plan compliance and controls.

Stacie brings a client-focused approach to all aspects of the assurance process, taking great care to gain insight into a client’s specific operations and financial objectives resulting in more meaningful recommendations on business systems, internal controls, operational procedures and practices. Stacie is responsible for the oversight of the entire audit process and issuance of audit reports. She works with companies along all stages of development – from pre-revenue startup to over $500 million multinational enterprises.
