Russell has been with the firm since 1986. He serves as a manufacturing and distribution and real estate tax principal. Russell specializes in developing and implementing creative tax strategies for medium- to large-sized privately held businesses and their owners.
- Develop tax strategies for businesses and their owners that fit their financial goals
- Assist business owners through all phases of the business cycle from start-up and exit
- Consult on tax structuring for business acquisitions and reorganizations
- Succession planning including estate planning, shareholder stock redemption agreements, and deferred compensation plans
- Tax planning in multi-state taxation area
- Represents clients before IRS and state taxing authorities
- Provide tax leadership in all aspects of business transactions including structuring and post transaction planning
- Lead planning and coordinate with other specialists from within the firm on International tax issues
