Jigna has more than 15 years of public tax and accounting experience providing clients with tailored tax compliance and consulting services. She has extensive experience in federal and multistate compliance, tax planning, research and analysis, mergers and acquisitions and tax restructuring. The industries she serves include manufacturing and distribution, retail, real estate, media and technology, professional services and not-for-profit.
- Has extensive experience working with corporations, flow-through entities, family-owned and closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
- Provides corporate (including tax provision), state, local and international tax services
- Manages and oversees clients’ tax compliance and planning needs, including connecting and collaborating with team of specialists and advisors
- Proactively provides updates on changes in tax laws and incentives
- Represents clients before the IRS, the Franchise Tax Board in California and other state tax authorities
- Advises clients and boards on best practices and strategies
- Conducts in-house tax trainings for staff and is extremely involved in mentoring, coaching and providing career guidance to young professionals
- Previously lead a not-for-profit practice
- Previously worked at a local midsize CPA firm, where she spearheaded the firm’s process improvement initiative, including developing and implementing solutions to increase efficiency via standardization of processes and identifying and reducing redundancy
