Jessica is a principal with Baker Tilly’s real estate and construction practice. With more than 20 years of experience, Jessica focuses on assisting her clients to effectively navigate complex tax return preparation, compliance and planning, and providing comprehensive tax advice to both businesses and their owners. She has substantial experience working closely with clients to address their tax, accounting, advisory and transaction needs with a primary focus on the professional services industry and owners. Jessica combines strong technical tax skills along with her knowledge of leading automated technology tools to serve many of our largest multistate law firm partnership clients. She was recognized as a nominee for the Greater Washington Society of CPAs “Women to Watch” in the CPA Emerging Leaders category.
- Responsible for overseeing the overall tax compliance for her clients, including managing the preparation of federal and state income tax returns for large multistate partnerships and S corporations
- Provides tax planning and consulting for both professional service firms and closely held businesses and their owners
- Provides ongoing communication with clients regarding changes in tax laws and new tax incentives
- Assists with federal and state income tax audits, examinations and appeals processes
- Provides training on efficient and effective partnership tax preparation
