Dasol Kwan is a principal with Baker Tilly’s real estate and construction practice. He has more than 10 years of experience working with clients to address their tax and business advisory needs. Dasol specializes in working with publicly owned and privately held real estate industry clients, including real estate investment trusts.

- Strong background relating to foreign investment in U.S. real estate and related foreign compliance and Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act of 1980 (FIRPTA) reporting requirements
- Provides quarterly and annual REIT testing for large D.C. and nationally based REITs
- Leads and executes highly technical projects in the areas of partnership taxation, including advanced waterfall and targeted capital allocations, Sec. 704(b) and tax capital account maintenance, Sec. 704(c)allocations and basis adjustments
- Manages, supervises, trains and leads team members through the Baker Tilly care and teach philosophy, with counsel, guidance and coaching
