Corey Tremaine is the Milwaukee, Wisconsin office team leader of Baker Tilly’s construction and real estate services practice. He has been with the firm since 1997. Corey specializes in providing assurance and accounting services to contractors, manufacturers, real estate and senior living clients.
- Manages more than 30 client relationships for the firm, the largest being a senior living provider
- Plans and supervises audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements for a variety of privately held clients, including international operations, foreign-owned U.S. companies and domestic companies
- Advises clients on accounting, tax and operational opportunities related to multinational operations
- Advises clients on U.S. tax savings opportunities to support strategic business goals, including business transactions, accounting methods and tax law changes
- Advises clients on department of labor issues relative to defined contribution rules and regulations
- Responsible for limited scope and full scope audits of employee benefit plans, including defined contribution plans and defined benefit plans
