Charles is a principal in Baker Tilly’s private wealth practice. He has more than 17 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, executives, fiduciaries, families with multigenerational wealth and family offices. Charles works across Baker Tilly’s varied services offerings to develop forward-thinking, custom solutions for every client.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Charles spent four years with another Dallas based firm, serving various entrepreneurs and their businesses and personal tax needs.
- Serves and represents clients before the IRS and has successfully negotiated tax assessments for an array of individuals and businesses
- Experience in facilitating all accounting aspects of a small business
- Advises entrepreneurs on formation and structuring of entity, operations and mergers and acquisitions, while effectively managing tax implications from the business down to individual owners
- Extensive experience with structuring and tax compliance for investment partnerships, family limited partnerships, private equity funds, and fund to fund investments
- Helps clients with family office structuring and planning, develops optimized tax strategies and philanthropic planning including Private Foundations
