Cecilia Angat is an audit principal based out of Baker Tilly's San Francisco office. Cecilia has more than 20 years of combined experience working in both public accounting and private industry. Viewing the audit process as an opportunity to help clients improve their overall operations, Cecilia provides practical guidance in strengthening internal controls and developing effective financial reporting systems. She has the ability to bring clarity to complex matters and offers viable solutions to our clients.
- Completes, leads and manages numerous financial statement audits, risk assessments, reviews and compilations in the following industries: private equity and venture capital funds; asset management; and not-for-profit including private schools, private foundations, religious organizations, membership organizations and community service organizations
- Provides critical expertise in budgeting, forecasting, endowment accounting, cost allocations, single audit requirements, strategic planning, cash-flow projections, and analyzing financial statements
- Develops and presents audit findings to senior management and provides recommendations to improve effectiveness
