Brenda Jacinto

Brenda Jacinto is a principal with Baker Tilly’s client accounting services practice. She is a strategic leader with more than 24 years of experience in accounting and financial management. She leads a team focused on not-for-profit clients. Brenda has extensive experience working with clients in this space and has collaborated on several special projects with her current team.

Before joining Baker Tilly, Brenda led an outsourcing group at a Texas business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, where she worked with clients in a variety of industries including SaaS, oil and gas, small business, and not-for-profit. Brenda has also held roles, including controller, director and fractional chief financial officer (CFO), in the not-for-profit and business space.

Brenda’s experience includes knowledge of operational management and leading teams. She has a process design mindset and is passionate about increasing the visibility of real-time data in accounting systems. One of her goals is improving and helping finance teams be more productive through the use of technology such as leveraging Sage Intacct and third party solutions. Brenda is currently responsible for providing general accounting consulting, integrating accounting systems, strategic services, preparing and reviewing financial statement packages for end users.
